Kevin Owens was determined to go at it alone as he faced Solo Sikoa in a Street Fight on WWE Raw.

The former world champion urged Cody Rhodes not to get involved in his main event match on Monday night, while he is still insisting he doesn’t want an alliance with Sami Zayn after the latter split from The Bloodline.

He told the American Nightmare to focus on preparing for his Undisputed WWE Universal Title match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39, insisting that was more important.

It meant KO was going into battle on his own, taking on The Bloodline’s enforcer in a highly physical contest.

Both men did their part here to make this a hard hitting clash between two excited brawlers, but eventually The Usos got their presence felt as they continued to target Owens.

They helped their younger brother to victory as he put their rival away for a three count, picking up his biggest win to date on the main roster.

Like he asked, Cody didn’t get involved, and WWE is continuing a slow build to the eventual reunion between KO and Sami, which should see them beat Jimmy and Jey Uso for the tag team titles at WrestleMania.

Omos and Brock Lesnar face off, Damage CTRL attack Trish Stratus and more

Edge kicked things off on Monday night by calling out Finn Balor, recapping their long history before challenging him to a Hell In A Cell match at WrestleMania.

The Judgment Day man accepted, sparking a brawl which saw Johnny Gargano and Dexter Lumis join the fray.

This led to a tag match as Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio picked up a win over Gargano and Lumis, with Rhea Ripley getting involved as things took a more chaotic turn.

Later that night, Rey Mysterio tried to come out to address his Hall of Fame induction, only for Dom to interrupt him again and tear his father down.

He laid down a challenge for WrestleMania, but the masked legend refused, with WWE doing a good job of building to the moment he finally snapped.

Earlier in the evening, Omos and Brock Lesnar nearly broke into a scrap during their face to face, with the Nigerian Giant sending the Beast over the top rope, impressing Lesnar who decided to back off so he could fight another day.

In the second match of the night, LA Knight delivered a great showing against Cody Rhodes, holding his own before falling to the Cross Rhodes.

After the bell, he cut a heartfelt promo hyping up his match with Roman Reigns, noting while he doesn’t have a Master Sword (a reference for all you Zelda fans), he still plans to dethrone the Tribal Chief.

Backstage, Damage CTRL laid out Trish Stratus with an attack just a few weeks before they faced Trish, Lita and Becky Lynch at WrestleMania.

Bronson Reed picked up a simple but dominant win over Elias, continuing to build momentum for the former North American Champion.

After a row backstage with the Street Profits, Austin Theory found himself in the ring with Angelo Dawkins one week after a devastating verbal battle with John Cena.

The United States Champion picked up a much needed win, as he looks to be seen as a threat to the legendary wrestler turned actor.

Baron Corbin tried to offer his services to Seth Rollins to help train him in boxing for his upcoming match with Logan Paul, and it led to a match between the two with the Miz at ringside, and the Visionary picking up a relatively easy win.

Carmella was at ringside supporting Chelsea Green as she stepped between the ropes to face Bianca Belair.

The Raw Women’s Champion picked up the deserved win in a decent match with some offense for Green, but she fell to the KOD.

Asuka saved the Raw Women’s Champion from a two-on-one attack after the bell, and danced with the title before handing it back to her WrestleMania opponent.

WWE Raw airs Monday nights at midnight on BT Sport.
