AN AIR FRYER superfan has revealed how to make the best prawn toast – and claims it’s better than the real deal from the takeaway.
Nate shared his 15-minute recipe using the countertop gadget – and people can’t believe how easy it is to make.
The foodie, known online as @boredoflunch, regularly shares quick and easy recipes with his 623,000 followers.
In a new TikTok reel, he said: “I am obsessed with this air fryer prawn toast. It’s 38 calories a triangle.
“Simple mash up 150 grams of prawns with some sesame oil, garlic and ginger.
“Spread across three to four slices of bread, and then dunk that into some sesame seeds.
“Then cut it into your triangles, you get between 12 to 16, and then, not the prawn side, but dip into one beaten egg.
“Air fry for eight minutes at 200 and look at that. They are so good, 38 calories, and dip in a sweet chili sauce. unreal.”
Fans loved his quick and easy recipe, with the video gaining more than 35,400 likes and 1.1 million views.

He’s not the only one sharing his air fryer-friendly recipes online – Olivia took to TikTok to share how she makes delicious pizza using just two ingredients.
She said: “This is your sign to go and make two-ingredient dough pizza in the air fryer.
“I’ve been making this recipe for months now, but have never tried it in the air fryer. It was a game-changer.
“I used 85 grams of self-raising flour, and 95 grams of 0 per cent fat Greek yogurt, mixed them together, and molded them into my desired shape.
“And then I topped it with tomato puree, pizza seasoning, mozzarella, and pepperoni and then placed it into the air fryer at 190 literally for about 10 minutes. It was done in no time.
“When it came out it looked like this and it was unbelievable.
“You’ve got to try it.”
